In our Lodge we operate in such a way, that a fair share of the benefits remains in the local hosting community. In addition, we try to reduce the environmental impact and to provide a rewarding nature-based experience for our guests. Our EcoLodge is, therefore, ideal for travelers who want to experience nature while supporting ecotourism.
Our Lodge is 100% water sustainable. We recover all the rain water in our roofs and then we filtered it with natural elements such as sand and carbon.
On the other hand, in order to protect the land, we started a reforestation project in 2018 as a vision of Sylvia, one of the main investors in Pacha Ecolodge. This area was officially registered as Forestal area. When we just had bought the land, we knew that it was an abandoned Cow Farm; with only 4 trees left.
Therefore, if you book a night or an adventure with Pacha or with Kayak Ecuador, you will be supporting a local company that hires locals and a reforestation project.
Sustainability plays a key role in Pacha Ecolodge: it has been the driving force in all the activities, practices and the central concept of the Lodge. To support sustainability we have aligned ourselves to the United Nations (UN) global action call for social, economic and environmental sustainability: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
